Quick Tips
- Remember when to use your credit card/debit card.
- Get a joint credit card with your parents as a means of building up credit.
- Never miss a payment.
- Until you are really comfortable paying bills, you should pay your bills ON TIME.
- Understand what a credit report is.
- Try and get one at least twice a year.

I read similar article also, and it was completely different. Personally, I agree with you more, because this article makes a little bit more sense for me.
